Workshops
Tucson Festival of Books Masters Workshop is March 15-16, 2027
The Tucson Festival of Books Masters Workshop this year was March 16-17. Faculty: Laura Da’, Anthony Marra, Shobha Rao, Helen Schulman, and Nicole Walker.
The Tucson Festival of Books Literary Awards is the avenue to two days of hands-on workshopping with a faculty of top U.S. authors following the Tucson Festival of Books, March 13-14, 2027.
Fiction, nonfiction, and poetry entries are now accepted for the fifteenth annual writing competition, offering more than $5,000 in prize money. In addition to cash prizes, first- through third-place winners in each category get scholarships to the Masters Workshop. The top 50 entrants are invited to the workshop ($350).
Deadline for entries is October 31, 2026.
